Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) :  Senior BJP leader and national vice-president Sj Baijayant Panda has written a letter urging the Indian ambassador to Dubai to intervene in the repatriation of a sick Odia youth, Baidhar Ghadai, who was trapped in Dubai.

Baidhar Ghadai, the eldest son of Nirakar Ghadai of Panturi village under Pattamundai police station in Kendrapara district, had gone to Dubai for employment through his cousin Dev Kumar Ghadai. He had been working for a private company there for the past five months but suddenly felt ill and started treatment on the advice of doctors. Baidhar resigned from the company and decided to return to India due to no success in treatment and more pain. But the company authorities did not relive him or even pay the arrears to Baidhar. The helpless Baidhar is now starving due to lack of money and struggling with life due to illness.

Baidhar’s father, Nirakar Ghadai, sought the intervention of Mr. Panda to bring his son back home. At the request, Mr. Panda contacted the Indian Ambassador in Dubai to inform him of the matter and urge him to take immediate steps to bring Baidhar back to India safely as well as provide assistance
