Ruling Biju Janata Dal has made two important frontal head appointments. The legislator from Chandabali and former BCJD president Byomakesh Ray is appointed as the president of the youth front( Biju Yuba Janata Dal) , where as the legislator from Banki Devee Ranjan Tripathy is made the head of the student front(BCJD). Party supremo Navin Pattanaik has approved the appointment of two frontal head, informed the party General Secretary(Media Affairs) Sri Manas Ranjan Mangaraj.

BJD supremo this month had appointed more than 100 office bearers each in both the organisations. Sri Ray, a second time MLA was also earlier the head of the BCJD, while Mr Tripathy was the working president of the student wing before being elected as a legislator in 2019.
