Breaking the record, the number of positives exceeded 10,000

Bhubaneswar: A total of 571 corona positive have been identified from 21 districts of the state today. Breaking the all the records before , the number of positives exceeded 10,000. Concerns are growing about local infections, with al time high 168 today. Out of the total positives found in the state 403 were identified from the quarantine, while an alarmingly 168 are identified from the public. As a result, the total number of positives has risen to 10,097, while the number of persons recovered is 6486 and the number of Active Cases stands 3557. Corona death toll has risen to 42, with Three died from Ganjam and one from Cuttack.
Among the new positives Ganjam has the highest number of 273 positive cases with 54 from Gajapati, 52 from Sundergarh.
