MAKEOVER OF PILLAI HALL IN CHAIBASA, JHARKHAND BY RUNGTA MINES LIMITED

Ranchi: Pillai hall, one of the historic buildings of the town, which provided facilities for staging different socio-cultural programmes since many decades got a much-awaited facelift and makeover by Rungta Mines Ltd., one of the leading players in steel manufacturing and mining of India as part of its CSR initiatives.

 The revamped auditorium is having a seating capacity of 435 persons including ground floor and balcony, equipped with HVAC system, light and sound system, false ceiling with acoustic panelling with tile and granite flooring.

The project has been beautified with a fountain in front of the portico, paver block flooring in front of building. Amenities like rainwater recharge pit, DG back up during power cuts, green rooms for male and female artists, washrooms for audience, potable drinking water through purifier have also been provided.

The auditorium will definitely prove to be a great community infrastructure for generations.
