Mortal remains of Odia worker brought back from Delhi to Odisha

Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : Bichitrananda Patra a 58 year old resident of Tanupur village in Patamundai, Kendrapara district was working as a plumber in New Delhi. On 20th morning he suddenly fell on ground while worshiping and sustained a head injury. He called one of his friends and informed him that he was not feeling well.But by the time his friend reached, Bichitrananda was found dead.

Director Odia Mahamanch Sri Gobardhan Dhal after getting information regarding the same coordinated with Sri AkshaySamal, the SPOC member appointed by Odisha-Mo Parivar at Delhi, who assisted in completing all the legal procedures. The family were financially weak to transfer the mortal remains back to Odisha.

After receiving this information from the Chief Minister’s Residence office, Odisha-Mo Parivar provided financial assistance to transfer the mortal remains from Delhi to Odisha.

Joint Secretaries (Odisha-Mo Parivar) Sri Rudra Samantray and Sri Sameer Pradhan &Health Advisor Sri Satyajit Dash received the mortal remains at Bhubaneswar airport and also made logistical arrangements to transfer the mortal remains from the airport to Swarga Dwar, Puri where the last rites were performed.
