Raipur road mishap : Naveen expressed deep grief

Announced exgratia of Rs 2lakh each for the bereaved families

Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice) : Chief minister Sri Naveen patnaik has expressed deep grief at the tragic death of 7 persons of Ganjam district in a serious road accident in Raipur Chhatisgarh .The chief minister conveys his deep sympathy to the bereaved families and announces exgratia of Rs 2lakh each from CMRF to the next of the kin of the deceased .Chief minister has also announced free medical treatment to the injured and wished their speedy recovery .

Chief minister Sri patnaik has directed minister Sushant Singh to immediately proceed to Raipur to extend necessary assistance to the victims of accident .

“As per the direction of CM, we are in touch with Sr police officers of Chattisgarh police regarding unfortunate road accidents.Seven injured persons are being treated in Raipur Medical College Hospital.Post Mortem of Seven dead persons will be done soon. An Odisha police team under SDPO Padampur is rushing to Raipur to assist Police authorities. Fifty nine remaining laborers are safe and under the care of Raipur administration /Police”, informed DG in a tweet.
