Bhubaneswar: With an objective to motivate the employees and to build teamwork among them, ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) hosted sports fest at its operation locations in Paradeep and Dabuna.
The fun filled Sports Fest was inaugurated with lighting the lamp by Sri G Suresha, Executive Director, AM/NS India, Odisha in presence of Sri Sunila Das, Head-HR, Sri Durlav Singh, Head-Security and Sri Tushar Panda, Senior Lead-Indirect Taxation.
Addressing the participants during inauguration, Sri G Suresha, Executive Director, AM/NS India, Odisha Asset said, “The sports promote unity within the organization, as well as help workers become more productive at work. It promotes good values and keeps teams in high spirits”.
The employees working in different departments participated in a total of seven competitions like; Cricket, football, badminton, Volleyball, Carrom, Chess, Table tennis.
Sri Sunila Das, Head-HR, AM/NS India, Odisha Operations, said: “Winning and losing is part of the game but the participation of employees which matters the most. Games instill a positive and competitive spirit among the players. Sports fests bring out the best in everyone and keep the good vibes around the office”.
