Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice) : World Travel Market London is a market leading international travel event unlocking business opportunities for inbound and outbound tourism professionals. Odisha has been participating in this annual event regularly with its last presence being in 2019, post which the event was called off for 2 years due to the pandemic. Nowthat the international tourism market has opened up. WTM 2022 has become a sought after event among the travel & tourism industry stakeholders.
Today, an official delegation from Odisha comprising Tourism Minister Shri Aswini Kumar Patra, Director Tourism Shri Sachin R. Jadhav, Jt. Director Tourism Shri Biswajit Routray along with few other officials from Odisha Tourism started journey from Bhubaneswar to participate in WTM to be held from 7th to 9th November 2022. A promotional stall has been curated and set up at the exhibition venue where the delegates will interact with tourism fraternity and investors from across the world. Such initiatives will aid in reshaping the current travel and tourism sector in the State through stakeholder relations and gathering data insights into trending destinations and products.There is also programme of Chief Secretary,Odisha to attend this international event.
