Graduation Day of IDEANEST 3.0 Pre-Incubation program held

Bhubaneswar: Atal Incubation Centre-Nalanda Institute of Technology Foundation (AIC-Nalanda) supported by AIM, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India hosted the Graduation Day of the third chapter of their Pre-Incubation Program, IdeaNest 3.0-The Student Edition, on 2nd February 2023 at their premises.

AIC-Nalanda ran this program from December’22 to January’23 for Student innovators who were at Ideation Level. The participants of this program were the Top Performers selected during the “Mo Startup Bootcamps” from the colleges namely: Parala Maharaja Engineering College (PMEC), Berhampur, IGIT, Sarang, Sambalpur University Institute of Information Technology (SUIIT), Sambalpur, Govt College of Engineering (GCE), Keonjhar and Govt. College of Engineering Kalahandi (GCEK), Bhawanipatna.

“IdeaNest” gave these student innovators a platform whereby they could seek the right mentoring required for turning their ideas into prototypes, get industrial & consumer-centric exposure in their early entrepreneurial journey and ultimately be able to form a Startup.

The Graduation Day witnessed Pitch Presentations from 12 Startups of varied sectors to a panel of 4 Jury Members followed by a networking lunch and the final graduation ceremony. The event started with Mr.Devjyoti Mohanty, CEO, AIC-Nalanda, welcoming the guestsand the students of the pre-incubation program. He briefed on how important networking is to a startup founder at all stages and, also congratulated young brains for having made it through.

The event was graced by Dr. Asit Mohapatra, Professor at IIM-Ranchi who spoke about his experience of mentoring startups at IIMs and emphasized upon the fact that perseverance is the only key to success for every change-maker. Joining him on the dais was Dr. Payodhar Padhi, Former Dean & Professor at Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital who encouraged the students present to never stop innovating new solutions and offered to help them in all ways possible in his capacity.

The ceremony ended with the felicitation of all the 12 teams for having successfully pitched & completed this 8-week long journey.
