Cuttack:Kishor Nagar Degree College and Kandarpur Degree College, celebrated their annual functions on Thursday.
In Kishor Nagar Degree College, the welcome speech was given by Principal of the college, Shri Abhay swain while Mo-College CoordinatorDr.AnadiBaral introduced the esteemed guest presented on the stage.
Guest of Honour, Shri Chandra SarathiBehera (MLA) encouraged the students to devote themselves to study completely which will fetch them success in longer run as well as a promising brightfuture. Chief Guest of the event, ShriAkash Dasnayak expressed how one individual can dream big and bring massive change in the institution which is overfour decades old and more than thirty thousand students have studied so far those can elevate college’s overall wellbeing through Mo college by its alumni association.
Retd. Vice Chancellor of FM University KumarbaraDas, who was also present in the ceremonyexpressed his desire of children practicing more of mother tongue &Odia culture, heritage and must dedicate themselves to the society. Institution’s Governing body president SmtCharubala Panda also addressed the students and discussed how one can contribute improve the college overall wellbeing. Krushna Chandra Mohanty, Accountant of the Institution, presented the annual report at the event.
Staffs, Students and Alumni were also attended the event whole heartedly. The best graduate award was presented toDevi Archana Panda of zoology hons. 52 students were also awarded for different cultural competition likeJhoti,Dance, Song, Rangoliand Essay competition with trophy and certificates.
On the other hand, The Annual function held at Kandarpur Degree college was inaugurated by ShriChandra Sarathi Behera, Hon’ble MLA, Cuttack Sadar. Chief guest of the event, Shri AkashDasnayak, asked students to concentrate cent percent in a particular work with keen interest to achieve success. There is no substitute for hard work. He also discussed the aim, objectives and principles of education with students massively presented in the ceremony.
Regional Director of Education Dr. Kartik Prasad Jena was also attended the occasion. Prof. Sarada Prasana Mohapatra, Principal cum Secretary of Kandarpur College introduced the dignitaries on dais whereas ‘Mo college’ Coordinator Dr.Alekh Chandra Sahoo carried out entire event and gave vote of thanks.
