New Delhi: “Gopal Das, the accused in Shri. Naba Das murder case was subjected to Narco-analysis by the experts at the Gujarat State Forensic Science Laboratory which is the best in the country. Forensic Psychological Assessment and Layered Voice Analysis Test of the accused was done by experts from Central Forensic Science Laboratory, New Delhi which is a Central Government institution. Now the help of FBI of USA has been sought for doing the Behavioural Analysis of the accused. Letter has been sent to Government of India to facilitate.” said BJD MP Dr. Sasmit Patra addressing the media at Vijay Chowk, New Delhi .
“The CBI had also referred cases earlier to FBI. There are more than 25 cases like Bhanwari Devi Murder Case, Sunanda Pushkar Death Case, murder of national-level shooter Sippy Sidhu case among many others in which FBI help was requested. A retired High Court Judge nominated by the Hon’ble High Court of Odisha is monitoring the investigation of the probe. This indicates the high quality of investigation that is being done to ensure that transparency is being maintained. Odisha BJP can carry on doing its dirty and cheap politics because they dont know anything else except doing politics on sensitive criminal cases like this, added Dr. Patra.
