Mass Tree Plantation Festival of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant commences with plantation of 1150 saplings at Ispat Vriksha Vihar

Rourkela(Basanta Kumar Jena): More than 250 students from different schools of the Steel City along with senior officers and employees of Rourkela Steel Plant as well as CISF personnel enthusiastically took part in the Mass Environmental Awareness and Tree Plantation Festival of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) organized at Ispat Vriksha Vihar, Sector-1 on 13th July, 2023.

Mr. Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-Charge, Rourkela Steel Plant with Additional charge of DIC, Boakro Steel Plant graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the programme. Dr. A.K.Mishra, IFS, RCCF, Dr. Anup Mallick, Regional Officer, OSPCB, Govt. of Odisha Mr. S R Suryawanshi, ED (Works), Mr. P K Satapathy, ED (P&A), Mr. P K Sahoo, ED (Projects), Dr. B K Hota, ED (M&HS), Mr. P K Rath, CGM in-charge (Mines) and Mr. A K Behuria, CGM In-charge (F&A),Mr. Ashok Jalwania,Commandent,CISF and several Chief General Managers and other Senior Officers of the plant were present on the occasion.
