Tourism projects in the State reviewed
Bhubaneswar: Tourism Development in terms of infrastructure and other amenities in both Harishankar and Nrushingnath will be completed by December, 2023. The construction of market complex, parking area, entrance plaza, bathing ghat, toilet block, shops, drinking water facility will also be dedicated for the tourist very soon.
In a meeting various works to be taken up by Tourism Department were discussed and reviewed today. Sri Asit Tripathy, Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister chaired over the meeting and said that growth of tourism potential will boost State’s development along with creating more opportunities for employment of local people.
During the meeting, it was mooted to build 15 beach shack in the locations such as Gopalpur, Chandipur, Talasari, Paradeep and Sonapur. It is also decided to install a big cruise vessel in the Hirakud Reservoir. Sri Surendra Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism Department and other officials were present.
