New Delhi : Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Amit Shah, graced the ISKCON sanctuary nestled in the East of Kailash district within South Delhi, marking the sacred observance of Krishna Janmotsav. He sought the benevolent blessings of Lord Krishna for the advancement and prosperity of the nation. On this auspicious occasion, Shah extended his warmest greetings to all the citizens. A harmonious chant resonated throughout – “Hathi Ghoda Palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lal ki.”

Addressing the gathering, Shah articulated that this Janmashtami festival, brimming with devotion and zeal, fills one’s heart with exuberance and piety. May the benevolent Lord Shri Krishna bestow His divine blessings upon all. Across the length and breadth of the nation, devout celebrants rejoiced in the commemoration of Lord Krishna’s birth, adorning it with grandeur and festivity.

An image of Shah, deeply immersed in devotion, was unveiled alongside a portrayal of saints in the divine company of Lord Krishna and His beloved Radha.

Krishna, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, stands as the epitome of Sri Hari’s avatars. Amongst the myriad forms of the Supreme Lord, Krishna is revered as the quintessential embodiment, revered for His multifarious pastimes. From His playful butter pilfering to His enchanting dalliances with the gopis, Krishna exudes an endearing charm in all His divine roles.

Amit Shah, a senior BJP leader, is not only a proficient politician but also is a religious man. On each celebratory occasion, Shah partakes in solemn rituals, beseeching the divine for the nation’s prosperity. In the spirit of “Jai Shri Krishna,” Amit Shah expressed his hope that this sacred occasion of veneration and devotion would instil fresh vigour and fervour into the lives of all compatriots.
