LONG DISTANCE SPECIAL TRAIN SERVICES IN ECoR

Bhubaneswar-For the convenience of general public, especially passengers and keeping in view the demands in important routes, it has been decided to extend the services of existing Special Trains for another more trips. Apart from this, Some more Special Trains have also been decided to run through ECoR towards different destination, to clear additional rush of passengers in the peak time, i.e. in Puja and Winter. Puri-Patna Special:

08439/08440 Puri-Patna-Puri Special leaving from Puri at 1455hrs on every Saturday and leaving from Patna at 1345hrs on every Sundays will now run up to 30th December, 2023.

Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad Special:

02832/02831 Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special leaving from Puri at 1455hrs on every Saturday and leaving from Patna at 1345hrs on every Sundays will now run up to 30th December, 2023.

Puri-Bhanjapur Special:

08011/08012 Bhanjapur (Baripada)-Puri- Bhanjapur Special leaving Bhanjapur on every Thursday & Saturday and leaving Puri on every Fridays & Sundays has been extended to run up to 31st December 2023.

Brahmapur-Surat Special:

09069/09070 Surat-Brahmapur-Surat Special Express will leave Surat at 1420hrs on every Wednesdays and will leave from Brahmapur at 0330hrs on every Fridays from 8th November to 29th December 2023.

Malatipatapur (Puri) – Gomti Nagar (Lucknow) Special:

05068/05067 Gomtinagar-Malatipatapur Special Express will leave from Gomti Nagar at 1855hrs on every Thursdays and will leave from Malatipatapur at 1000hrs on every Saturdays from 9th November to 2nd December 2023.

Bhubaneswar-Chennai Special:

06073/06074 Chennai-Bhubaneswar-Chennai Special Train from Chennai will leave Chennai at 2345hrs on every Mondays and will leave from Bhubaneswar at 2100hrs on every Tuesdays from 13th November to 28th November 2023.

Santragachhi-Chennai Special:

06071/06072 Santragachhi-Chennai- Santragachhi Special Train from Chennai will leave Chennai at 2345hrs on every Saturdays and will leave from Santragachhi at 0500hrs on every Mondays from 11th November to 27th November 2023.

Santragachhi-Puri Special:

02837/02838 Santragachhi-Puri-Santragachhi Special Train from Santragachhi leaving on every Fridays and leaving from Puri on every Saturdays will now run up to 25th November 2023.

Bhanjapur (Baripada)-Puri Special:

08011/08012 Bhanjapur-Puri-Bhanjapur Special Train from Bhanjapur leaving on every Thursdays & Saturdays and leaving from Puri on every Fridays & Sundays will now run up to 31st December 2023.

Sealdah (Kolkata)-Puri Special:

03101/03102 Sealdah-Puri-Sealdah Special Train from Sealdah leaving on every Saturdays and leaving from Puri on every Sundays will now run up to 26th November 2023.

Sambalpur-Erode Special:

08311/08312 Sambalpur-Erode-Sambalpur Special Train from Sambalpur leaving on every Wednesdays and leaving from Erode on every Fridays will now run up to 1st December 2023.

Cuttack-Hyderabad Special:

07165/07166 Hyderabad-Cuttack-Hyderabad Special Train from Hyderabad will leave at 2010hrs on every Tuesdays and will leave from Cuttack at 2230hrs on every Wednesdays from 7th November to 22nd November 2023.

Bhubaneswar New-Bangalore Special:

06287/06288 Bangalore-Bhubaneswar New-Bangalore Unreserved Special Train from Bangalore will leave at 0400hrs on 10th November (Friday) and will leave from Bhubaneswar New at 0815hrs on 11 November 2023 (Saturday).

Apart from the above, weekly Special trains like 08579/08580 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special, 08543/08544 Visakhapatnam-Bangalore-Visakhapatnam Special, 08583/08584 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Special trains will run up to last week of November 2023 and 08585/08586 Visakhapatnam-Kurnool City-Visakhapatnam Special will run up to 15th November 2023.

Reviewing the Passenger Profile Management, it is seen that, the trains of the above routes are running with additional passengers. In view of this, it has been decided to run more trains in important routes originating from ECoR jurisdiction.
