NTPC-Eastern Region -II and Southern Region signs Fuel supply Agreement with Mahanadi Coal fields Limited

Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : NTPC ER-II HQ organized the signing of Amendment to the Fuel Supply Agreement (FSA) with Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) on 6th. Nov.23 in ER-II HQ, Bhubaneswar.

Shri. Partha Mazumder,  Regional Executive Director (Eastern Region II),  and Shri. Debashish Chattopadhyay, Regional Executive Director (Southern Region), signed these FSAs from NTPC, for Talcher Kaniha and NTPC Simahdri, respectively, with  Shri TS Behera, GM(M&S), Mahanadi Coal Fields Limited  in presence  Shri. NS Rao, Executive Director, NTPC Talcher Kaniha,  and other senior officials. 

Upon this amendment the Annual Contracted Quantity of  NTPC Kaniha  will stand revised to  15.4 MMT  and will replace the coal supply of 1 MMT per annum from Eastern Coal Fields  Limited , for a period of 2 years wef 01.12.22, however shall continue further till any modification is signed.

Similarly, for NTPC Simhadri , Upon this amendment the Annual Contracted Quantity (ACQ)  will stand revised to  5.2 MMT  and will replace the coal supply of 1.5 MMT per annum from ECL, for a period of 2 years wef 01.12.22, however shall continue further till any modification is signed.
