NTPC Limited, ER-II Headquarters, Bhubaneswar conferred award of Excellence for ‘Best Public Sector Organization Implementing CSR’
Bhubaneswar: NTPC Limited, ER-II Headquarters, Bhubaneswar conferred the ‘Award of Excellence’ in the category of ‘Best Public Sector Organization Implementing CSR’ by the jury member of the 7thNational Media Conclave – 2023 held at KIMS Auditorium, Bhubaneswar on 23.11.2023.
The award was presented by Shri Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Hon’ble, Minister of Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare, Govt. of Odisha and Shri Pradip Kumar Amat, Hon’ble Minister of Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water, Govt. of Odisha.
The award was conferred to NTPC Limited, Eastern Region-II, Bhubaneswar as the ‘Best Public Sector Organization Implementing CSR’ for outstanding contribution towards the implementation of CSR initiatives and well-being of communities and society through environmental and social measures in the Eastern Region-II. Out of many flagship CSR initiatives, NTPC’s Girl Empowerment Mission has reached new heights of success in helping young girls to realise their goals and befitting over a million of courtrymen. This year NTPC has carried out its GEM programmes in 41 locations.
Shri Virender Pratap Singh, DGM (HR) and Shri Rajendra Sahoo, Assistant Manager (HR) received the award on behalf of Shri Partha Mazumder, Regional Executive Director (ER-II).
