Jharsuguda, Odisha; 6th December, 2023: Vedanta Aluminium, India’s largest producer of aluminium,has been conferred with the ‘Best Exporter’ Awardat the Odisha State Export Awards for its Jharsuguda smelter’s exceptional performance as the largest exporter of the state, for twoconsecutive fiscal years 2020-21and 2021-22. The coveted award was presented by Shri Pratap Keshari Deb, Minister of Industry, MSME (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise), and Energy, Government of Odisha. On behalf of the company, Mr. Ashok Kumar Patro, Head Indirect Taxation, and Mr. Karan Kumar Agarwal, Deputy Head Taxation Direct and Indirect, received the award. Notably, Vedanta Aluminium, Jharsuguda received the same award in fiscal years 2018-19 and 2019-20.
