Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : The Railway Protection Force (RPF) officers and staff of Khurda Road division observed National Police Commemoration Day at RPF Reserve Company ground, Khurda Road. The day remembers the sacrifices of ten policemen who died in Chinese firing in 1959.
On the occasion Shri Raja Ram Inspector General (IG) Cum Principal Chief Security Commissioner, RPF, East Coast Railway along Shri M.Sambasiva Rao, Divisional Security Commissioner, Khurda Road, other senior RPF Officers and Staff paid tribute to the martyrs.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Rajaram stated that, the sacrifice and service of police personnel would always be remembered and the day is about to expressing gratitude to our Police Personnel and their families.
