Barbil (Kalinga Voice) : Revenue Inspector Bileipada under Barbil Tahasil has been caught in Vigilance trap Today i.e. on 06.O1.2024 short while ago. Peer Md. Khan, Revenue Inspector (R.I.), Bileipada under Barbil Tahasil, Dist. Keonjhar has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand) from a Complainant to submit verification report in a Mutation Case and for issuance of ROR(Land Patta) in favour of complt. The entire bribe money Rs.20,000/- has been recovered from the possession of accused R.I. Meer Md. Khan and seized.
Following the successful trap, simultaneous searches are going on at three locations of Meer Md Khan from DA angle.
In this connection, Balasore Vigilance P.S. Case No.01 dt.05.01.2024 U/s 7 P.C. (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered.Investigation is in progress against accused R.I Peer Md Khan. Detailed report follows.
