Cuttack : Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw in his two day long visit to Odisha has inspected the 2nd Entry of Redevelopment of Cuttack Railway Station and connecting Road to Station from National Highway.
While taking stock of the work during his inspection of 2nd Entry, i.e. from National Highway side, Shri Vaishnaw praised the officials those are engaged in the redevelopment of Cuttack Railway Station. The station will connect both side of the city. The station looks like airport and more space has been provided for the passengers for their movement. Connecting to Station with National Highways will provide more convenience to the passengers apart from better parking facilities. Apart from this, modern facilities like Escalator, Lifts and Stairs are being provided. Construction work for the main Entry side of Cuttack Railway Station is going on in full swing.
Later Shri Vaishnaw joined in the live programme of Prime Minister’s Maan Ki Baat at Paramhans with local people. Gracing the occasion, Shri Vaishnaw said that railway is committed to provide facilities to the public, especially to the passengers and rail users. Pointing to the demands of the local people, Shri Vaishnaw has announced to fulfill the demands of the public like Approach Road along Railway line near Paramhansh. Shri Vaishnaw also announced the sanction of Flyover and Passenger Reservation System (PRS) Counter at Kandarpur which will provide convenience to the local people.
