3rd Installation ceremony of Rotary club of Jharsuguda Green celebrated
Jharsuguda: Rotary club of Jharsuguda Green celebrated its 3rd installation ceremony on 22nd July 2024 at Hotel Utkal continental.
Rtn Harshit kumar Modi took the charge of president with Rtn Anand Goel as Secretary &Rtn Manoj sharma as Treasurer for the year 2024-25. The oath ceremony took place in the presence of Chief guest District Governor 2024-25 – Rtn Akhil Mishra from jalabalpur, RID 3261, Guest of Honour Shri Bhabani shankarseth, OPS(I) commandant, I/C OSAP 2nd BN, Jharsuguda and Guest of Honour Rtn Alam Singh Roopra, District governor 2026-27, RID 3261.
Outgoing president Rtn Manish Didwania shared his valuable report & achievements during his tenure & thanked everyone for the continous support.
Rtn Harshit kumar Modi in his speech made commitments for the Green & clean Environment & also highlighted major projects such as
- Adoption of UGME school Sarbahal for various developmental work
- Awareness & vaccination drive for Cervical cancer
- Construction of EYE hospital at Mangal Bazar Govt. hospital
- Various other small projects
Rtn Sajid Hussain, Rtn Naresh saraogi, Rtn Vinod arukia, Rtn Shekh abdulhabib, rtn Gaurav jain, Anjali Modi, Veena Hussain& other rotary members were also present at the installation ceremony.
Esteemed members from various other social organisations of Jharsuguda, press members, members from Rotary club of other districts also was a part of installation ceremony by extending warm wishes.
Programme was concluded with vote of thanks by RTn Anand Goel by thanking everyone for there presence & making the event a grand success.
