KonarkSuryas Odisha Set to Shine in the 3rd season of Legends League Cricket

New Delhi, September 17, 2024 – Legends League Cricket took off with a grand press conference today at The Grand Hotel, New Delhi. Among the most anticipated team, this season is KonarkSuryas Odisha, present at the launch of the league for 2024 was cricketing legend Ambati Rayudu. With a deep-rooted connection to the state, Rayudu is passionate about driving the success of both the team and the sport in Odisha.
Led by Irfan Pathan, and supported by Odisha’s very own Natraj Behera, the team will see participation from other players including, Yusuf Pathan, Vinay Kumar, Rajesh Bishnoi, Shahbaz Nadeem, Praveen Tambe, DiweshPathania, K P Appanna&NatrajBehera(Odisha) from India, Ross Taylor from New Zealand, Kevin O’ Brian from Ireland, Ben Laughlin from Australia, Richard Levi from South Africa, Navin Stewart and Fidel Edwards from West Indies and DilshanMunaweera from Srilanka.
Speaking about his involvement with KonarkSuryas Odisha, Ambati Rayudu shared his thoughts on the upcoming league and the people of Odisha, “I am trulyhonoured to be part of KonarkSuryas Odisha, a team that resonates deeply with the people of this incredible state. Odisha has always been close to my heart, and the passion for sports here is palpable. The Legends League Cricket provides us with an exciting platform to uplift cricket in the region, encouraging young talents and inspiring the next generation of athletes.
