Mr. Vijay Chandok joins as MD & CEO of National Securities Depository Limited

Mumbai, November 29,2024:Mr. Vijay Chandok joins as MD & CEO of National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL), effective immediately.

A seasoned banker and a financial marketveteran with over three decades of experience, Mr. Chandok brings a wealth of expertise in BFSI sector. Prior to joining NSDL, he held pivotal roles at the ICICI Group, includingon the Board of ICICI Bank as an Executive Director.Most recently he served as Managing Director and CEO of ICICI Securities Ltd.

Mr. Vijay Chandok holds a master’s degree in management studies (MMS) from NarseeMonjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) (IIT-BHU), Varanasi (formerly IT-BHU). He was conferred with the Distinguished Alumnus Award from NMIMS University in 2017.
