WB Government refuses to give concurrence on the central deputation of 3 IPS officers!

Kolkata(Kalinga Voice) : The State government of West Bengal has refused to give its concurrence regarding the deputation of 3 IPS officers to Centre, as per reliable secretariat sources,

The Union home ministry had asked for three IPS officers on duty to be transferred out of the state due to the security lapses in BJP president JP Nadda’s security . The IPS officers who had been called to Delhi on central deputation are Bholanath Pandey (SP, Diamond Harbour), Rajeev Mishra (ADG, South Bengal) and Praveen Tripathi (DIG, Presidency Range)
“Three IPS officers who were responsible for arranging security during Nadda visit have been given central deputation by the MHA. The MHA had informed the state government earlier .

But, as per All India Services rules with regards to IPS officers, if any dispute arises between centre and state on the deputation of officers, the decision of Centre prevails.
