Zankla Studio Conducts Nature-Inspired Mindfulness Workshop for GEM 2025 at NTPC Bongaigaon

NTPC Bongaigaon, 18th July 2025: As part of the Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) 2025, NTPC Bongaigaon hosted a unique workshop titled “Being Mindful with Creativity” at the GEM Hall. The workshop was led by Zankla Studio, an innovative creative platform based in Assam, under the guidance of its Director, Shri Kirat Brahma, whose sustainable toy designs and handcrafted products have received national appreciation from the Hon’ble President of India and the Hon’ble Prime Minister.

The session revolved around the theme “Nature is Us”, encouraging the 40 GEM participants to connect with their inner selves through the lens of nature. With storytelling, creative reflection, and mindful engagement, the workshop provided a safe space for students to understand the value of conservation, self-expression, and environmental empathy. The session included experiential activities that sparked curiosity, promoted calm thinking, and introduced children to nature-inspired replicas of rare and endangered species—beautifully crafted by the studio team using eco-conscious methods.

The participants, aged between 10 and 12 years, enthusiastically engaged in the day’s learning, drawing inspiration from nature and recognizing their own role as changemakers for a sustainable future. The workshop reflected the core philosophy of Zankla Studio—where art meets awareness and creativity becomes a tool for mindfulness and learning.

She appreciated the impact of such meaningful sessions in shaping young minds and building a foundation for confidence, creativity, and environmental consciousness.
