Public Library (FLYBRARY) inaugurated at VSS Airport, Jharsuguda by Rotary Club of Jharsuguda Green

Jharsuguda, July 28, 2025 — In a significant step towards promoting literacy and education, the Rotary Club of Jharsuguda Green proudly inaugurated a new Public Library, “FLYBRARY,” in association with the Airport Authority of India at Veer Surendra Sai (VSS) Airport today.
The initiative is part of the club’s commitment to community development and social upliftment. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Airport Director Sri Sandeep Tiwari, eminent dignitaries, airport officials, Rotary members, and enthusiastic community members.
The library aims to serve travelers, students, and local residents by providing access to a wide collection of books, magazines, and educational materials in multiple languages.

Speaking on the occasion, Airport Director Sri Sandeep Tiwari said, “Today this library has been set up at the Security Hold Area of VSS Airport with the cooperation of Rotary Club of Jharsuguda Green. This will help the travelers to enjoy reading at airport and they can even take the books
from here with a message that they will return it a er reading. All the volunteers are requested to contribute books to this Library so that it will continue & get enriched. I sincerely thank Rotary Club of Jharsuguda Green for their contribution & cooperation.”
The library “FLYBRARY”, located in the passenger wai ng area, has been designed to create a quiet, welcoming space where readers can relax, learn, and grow. It reflects Rotary’s broader mission of service above self and strengthening the pillars of education and public welfare.

This project has been supported by contributions from Rotary members, community donors, and generous well-wishers. The Rotary Club plans to keep updating the library collection and will also host regular reading and awareness sessions for children and travelers.
