Bharat Ek Saath Initiative Led by IHCL Unity Hospitality Teams for Community Impact

Bhubaneswar| 22 March 2026 — The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), South Asia’s largest hospitality conglomerate and a member of the Tata Group, reaffirmed its dedication to corporate social responsibility through its annual global initiative, titled “Bharat Ek Saath.” This program unites IHCL employees worldwide in efforts to promote meaningful community development.
With a portfolio exceeding 615 hotels worldwide, including brands such as Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger, IHCL continues to lead industry efforts in fostering community partnerships and facilitating positive social change.
During the event, Ranjan Das, General Manager of The Crown IHCL SeleQtions, stated:
“Bharat Ek Saath embodies the Spirit of Tajness, encouraging employees to unite in service of society. It is a collective movement that reinforces pride, belonging, and shared purpose within the IHCL family.”
The initiative aligns with the objectives of the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust (TPSWT), established in response to the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. TPSWT has since expanded its scope to support victims of terror incidents, assist injured and specially-abled personnel in the military, empower law enforcement and healthcare professionals, and provide disaster relief across India.


Highlighting the Trust’s impact, Shantanu Das, Area General Manager of Ginger (East & North East), commented “TPSWT symbolizes courage and compassion. Its initiatives include long-term support for families affected by the 26/11 and 13/7 attacks, rehabilitation programs for army personnel, and extensive disaster response efforts. The Trust continues to assist communities in rebuilding with dignity and resilience.”
Key initiatives of TPSWT include:- Providing medical assistance, financial aid, educational support, and skill development for victims of terror attacks.
