KISS Students Excel in +2 Examinations

The results of the +2 examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) were announced on Wednesday, with students from Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) achieving commendable success in the examinations.

While the overall pass percentages in the state stood at 84.50% in Arts, 88.80% in Science, and 88.07% in Commerce, KISS recorded an encouraging performance across all streams. A total of 1,847 students from KISS appeared for the +2 examinations this year.

Continuing the trend of previous years, girl students of KISS outperformed the boys. More than 50% of the students secured first division marks. In Arts and Commerce streams, five students each scored above 90%, while seven students in Science secured more than 90% marks.

Neha Kujur emerged as the college topper in Arts with 91% marks. In Science, Saribala Munda became the topper with 96%, while Shashimani Majhi topped the Commerce stream with 91% marks.

Expressing happiness over the results, Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT and KISS, congratulated all the students for their success in the Class XII examinations. He said that the dedication of the faculty members of KISS College, their continuous guidance to students, and the relentless hard work of the students have brought this success to the institution.
