Vedanta Aluminium,Jharsuguda has ensured inclusive workplace practices across all levels of its operations, with women actively contributing in plant leadership and core manufacturing roles, including smelting, power generation andlogistics.The company has embedded menstrual health support acrossthesework environments withover100 sanitary napkin vending machinesdeployedat key locations, ensuring ready access to menstrualproducts andenabling women professionals to perform their roles with comfort and confidence.

These efforts are reinforced by a robust framework of supportive people policies. The company’sunique ‘NoQuestionsAsked’ work-from-home policy enables women professionals to takeone self-care day per month, with no explanations required. The company also provides six months of paid maternity leave along with childcare support provisions withinitsemployee township, as well as sabbatical leavesof up to six months forpersonal or family needs. These are complemented by regular wellness and counselling programs, conducted online and in-person.
