Bhubaneswar/Puri: Khimji Jewellers, one of Odisha’s most trusted and iconic jewellery brands, once again reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare during the Ratha Yatra 2026. Through its CSR arm, Khimji Foundation, the organisation implemented a series of charitable initiatives in Puri to support the lakhs of devotees who gathered for the annual chariot festival. The Khimji Foundation family and Mr. Mitesh Khimji, Managing Director, Khimji Jewellers extend their heartfelt greetings on the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra. They offer their humble prayers to Mahaprabhu Jagannath, seeking peace, happiness, good health, and prosperity for the people of Odisha.
Continuing its tradition of Seva, Khimji Foundation deployed water sprinkler vans at strategic locations along the Bada Danda, the main route of the chariot procession. The initiative provided much needed relief from the intense heat and humidity, helping ensure a more comfortable and spiritually enriching experience for devotees participating in the sacred festival.

In addition, the Foundation established 30,000 sq. ft. free night shelter at Puri Sea Beach for devotees who arrived without prior accommodation arrangements. The shelter was equipped with essential facilities, including drinking water, e-toilets, and other basic amenities, offering safe, clean, and accessible temporary lodging for thousands of pilgrims during the festival period.
Reflecting on the initiative, Mr. Mitesh Khimji, Managing Director of Khimji Jewellers, stated, “Ratha Yatra is not merely a festival; it is the spiritual heartbeat of Odisha. Serving the devotees of Mahaprabhu Jagannath during this sacred occasion is both our privilege and our responsibility. Through the Khimji Foundation, we remain committed to giving back to society through meaningful initiatives rooted in compassion, tradition, and care.”
