Jio solidifies market leadership in Odisha, adds highest 3.27 lakh new mobile subscribers in July: TRAI Data

Bhubaneswar: Further solidifying its market leadership in Odisha as the No. 1 and most preferred digital service provider in Odisha, Reliance Jio added a record 3.27 lakh new mobile subscribers in the state, in the month of July 2026. This has been revealed by the latest telecom subscription data, released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). In fact, Reliance Jo added over four times more subscribers than its nearest competitor, Airtel, in July. As per the data released by TRAI, Jio added the highest 3,27,034 new mobile subscribers in Odisha, in the month of July, followed by Airtel with 80,405 new subscribers and Vodafone Idea with 9667 new subscribers, while BSNL lost 4707 subscribers. Driven by Jio’s strong growth, Odisha’s total mobile subscriber base increased by over 4.12 lakh, pushing the state’s total wireless connections past 3.9 crores.
Continuing its dominance in the home broadband segment in Odisha, Jio added around 11000 JioAirFiber and JioFiber subscribers in July, as the total number of home broadband subscribers on Jio network in the state crossed 8 lakhs.
Nationally, Jio added over 24 lakhs new mobile subscribers and over 5 lakhs home broadband subscribers, in the month of July. With this, the total number of home broadband subscribers on Jio network in the country crossed 3 crores. Jio leads the 5G Fixed Wireless Access segment with 9.27 million subscribers and remains the sole provider of UBR fixed-wireless services in the country.
As the No. 1 digital service provider in Odisha, Jio now has the highest 1.85 crore mobile subscribers, and over 8 lakhs home broadband subscribers. With this, Jio further consolidated its market leadership in Odisha as the No. 1 service provider in wireless, wireline and FWA segments.
