Bhubaneswar, Sep. 19: Degrees were presented to the students of the Institute of Business and Computer Studies (IBCS) and School of Hotel Management (SHM), faculties of management sciences and hospitality and tourism management of the SOA Deemed to be University here, at a special graduation ceremony held on Saturday.
Students of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) of 2023-26 batch, Integrated Master of Business Management (IMBA) of 2021-26 batch, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Business Administration in Hospital Administration (MBAHA) of 2024-26 batch were presented their degrees.
Similarly, students who completed their courses in MBA in Hospitality Management belonging to 2024-26 batch and students of Bachelor in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) course of 2022-26 batch were also presented their degrees.
SOA’s Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Anup Kumar Samantaray, who attended the program as the chief guest, gave away the degrees and administered the oath to the students.
Stating that the day of graduation was the most significant day in the life of a student, Prof. Samantaray wished the graduating students success in life. He urged the students to play the role of brand ambassadors of the university. Prof. Manoranjan Dash, Additional Dean of IBCS, presented the welcome address.
Prof. Ayasakanta Mohanty, Dean of IBCS, Prof. Susanta Kumar Chaini, Dean of SHM, Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das, Dean (Students’ Welfare), members of the Academic Council and faculty members were present on the occasion.
