Ama Gaurav Ama College Parichalana Sangathan organised interactive webinar on “Decoding NEP 2020”

Bhubaneswar : Ama Gaurav Ama College Parichalana Sangathan organised an interactive webinar on “Decoding National Education Policy 2020” on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, to create greater awareness about the transformative provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and its significance for the student community.
The webinar featured Shri Rahul Krishna Nanda, Founder and President of FIIST, Innovator and Incubation Ecosystem Builder, as the key speaker. During his interaction with the participants, Shri Nanda elaborated on various dimensions of NEP 2020 and its student-centric approach. He highlighted how the policy seeks to equip students with knowledge, skills, creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial capabilities, thereby preparing them to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world.
Speaking on the transformative potential of NEP 2020, Shri Nanda emphasised that its effective implementation can play a significant role in empowering the youth and strengthening the foundations of a self-reliant India. He noted that the policy’s emphasis on multidisciplinary education, skill development, innovation and entrepreneurship can contribute significantly towards realising the vision of Atma Nirbhar Odisha by 2036 and Atma Nirbhar Bharat by 2047.
The interactive session also provided participants with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the objectives and implementation-oriented aspects of NEP 2020. The webinar witnessed participation from one university and ten colleges from different parts of Odisha.
The participating institutions were Rama Devi Women’s University; Sunabeda Women’s Degree College, Sunabeda, Koraput; Panchayat Degree College, Kalla, Debagada; Ekamra (Degree) College, Bhubaneswar, Khordha; Maharishi Women’s (Degree) College, Sailashreevihar, Khordha; Birupa (Degree) College, Indipur, Kendrapada; Laxmi Narayan Degree College, Pipilia, Keonjhar; Kuntala Kumari Sabat Women’s Degree College, Balasore; Biju Pattanaik Degree College, Kundra, Koraput; Shrama Sakti (Degree) College, Biramitrapur, Sundargarh; and Swami Sivananda Sanskrit (Degree) College, Debagada. Around 1300 students participated in the webinar.
The webinar concluded with an emphasis on the need for continued awareness, collaboration and effective implementation of NEP 2020 to create an inclusive, innovative and future-ready higher education ecosystem. The initiative reaffirmed Ama Gaurav Ama College Parichalana Sangathan’s commitment to providing students and higher education institutions with meaningful platforms for learning, dialogue and capacity building.
The event was attended by Dr.Chandi Charan Rath (State Coordinator AGACPS),Shri Harihara Badapanda(Manager AGACPS). The webinar was hosted by Chaitali Shome(IEC & Social Media Coordinator), while Swati Prava Mishra, Pritinanda Mahapatra and Shri Aviram Jena also assisted in the smooth execution of the event.
