New Delhi (Kalinga Voice) : No renewal registration certificate will be issued to government vehicles after 15 years. It will be effective from April next year , From the 1st of April, 2022, Government departments will not be able to renew the certificate of registration of their vehicles, after 15 years.This will apply to all governments – central, state, UT, PSUs, municipal bodies & autonomous bodies.
Notification of the draft rules has been issued to this effect yesterday by the Ministry , for public consultation.There is a thirty day period after the issue of the notification, for objections and suggestions from the general public.
