Donates 50 Jumbo Cylinders, 20 Oxygen Concentrators, 5 ICU beds to Distt. Covid Hospital & VIMSAR
Bhubaneswar: Keeping in view the second upsurge of the Covid-19, the Aditya Birla Group company, Hindalco has come forward to extend support to the Sambalpur Distt.Covid Hospital and the VIMSAR (Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research). On the request of the Distt. Administration, the company has donated 50 jumbo cylinders, 20 oxygen concentrators, 5 ICU beds and 2000 antigen kits to those hospitals to meet the oxygen requirements of Covid patients and strengthen the infrastructure facility of those two hospitals so that the patients can get better healthcare. These have been handed over to those hospitals by the Hindalco officials yesterday in the presence of hospital authorities.
As a responsible corporate citizen, Hindalco is deeply engaged in executing its CSR activities in peripheral villages in the area of education, healthcare, sustainable livelihood, and rural infrastructure and addressing the issues of social concern which has immensely benefitted the people of Sambalpur district.
