Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice) : The Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Pattanaik thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for announcing immediate assistance of 500 crores for the rehabilitation measures in the cyclone Yaas affected areas . In a tweet Chief Minister says ” Thank Hon’ble PM @narendramodi ji for announcing ₹500 Cr assistance for rehabilitation measures in #CycloneYaas affected areas. Also appreciate steps taken to build disaster-resilient power infrastructure. We will work on long-term mitigation.”
It is to be noted that, during the meeting with Prime-Minister , chief Minister of Odisha had not saught any immediate demand since the country is facing the peak of Covid pandemic. But the Chief Minister Sri Pattanaik urged for long-term solutions and preparedness for disasters.
