Dr. Jatish Chandra Mohanty is a retired IAS officer based in Hyderabad, India. He currently heads Gratitude India, a voluntary organisation involved in social work. After having served in the Indian Administrative Service in various capacities for over three decades, he took voluntary retirement, decided to venture into politics and established his own political outfit, Samruddha Odisha. Post this, he has been contributing to various causes including rural development and poverty eradication.

He holds a Masters’s degree and a PhD from the Andhra University and a Master’s degree and Doctor of Science degree on environmental health from Harvard University, USA.
