Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice) : Odisha-Mo Parivar has come forward to help a differently-abled woman by providing a wheelchair to her, who was facing a lot of problems in day-to-day life.
Nitu Behera, a 40-year-old lady who has lost the ability to walk since her childhood is completely dependent on a wheelchair for mobilization and day-to-day activities. She had been using a wheelchair received from a voluntary organization15 years ago, which was completely destroyed, hindering her day to day activities. As she was financially weak, she had been requesting various other organization for a wheelchair but was deeply saddened as she was not receiving any positive response from anyone. Somehow she came in contact with SriRajesh Maharana, a social worker and requested to provide her with a wheelchair.
Sri Maharana immediately informed Joint Secretary (Odisha-Mo Parivar) Sri Sameer Pradhan &Sri RudraNarayan Samantaray regarding this matter. Immediate action was taken in this regard and a wheelchair was provided by Odisha-Mo Parivar to MsNituBehera and she was also ensured that the team will help her to become self-sufficient in the near future.
