Barbil/Bhubaneswar : ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has rolled out a 24×7 Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance service at Barbil in Keonjhar district. The communities residing near Thakurani mines will be benefited with this ambulance service.
The new Advanced Life Support ambulance is equipped with all modern life saving equipment like Defibrillator, ventilators, suction machine, nebulizer, Automatic BP apparatus, Head Immobiliser, Cervical collar, Oxygen cylinder etc. to attend medical emergencies of critical patients. The ambulance service was inaugurated by Dr. Vikas Yadvendu, Head- CSR, AM/NS India in presence of Mr Pramod Mishra, Manager, Mines, Thakurani and other senior executives of AM/NS India.
Dr. Vikas Yadvendu Head-CSR AM/NS India said, “We are committed to provide the best healthcare facility to the community residing near the Mines. By dedicating the ALS Ambulance service, we have achieved another milestone in healthcare service under Project Arogya. With this, critical patients will be able to avail immediate medical assistance free of cost and precious human lives will also be saved”.
