New Delhi/ Rajgangpur, March 26, 2025:Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the CSR arm of India’ leading cement companyDalmia Bharat Ltd. (DBL), is proud to partner with Saint-Gobain India Pvt. Ltd (Gyproc Business), a global leader in light and sustainable construction, to introduce specialised training in Drywall and False Ceiling systems. The program will be conducted at DBF’S skill development center, DIKSHa in Rajgangpur, Odisha.This collaboration brings together Gyproc India’s industry-leading technical expertise and DIKSHa’s robust training framework to equip 120 youth annually with industry-relevant skills, addressing the growing demand for trained professionals in the construction sector. The initiative is designed to bridge the skill gap, enhance employment prospects, and contribute to a job-ready workforce aligned with industry needs.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Mr. Ashok Gupta, CEO, Dalmia Bharat Foundation, and Mr. Sudeep Kolte, Managing Director, Saint-Gobain India Pvt. Ltd (Gyproc Business)
As part of the partnership, Saint-Gobain India Pvt. Ltd (Gyproc Business) will fund and establish a state-of-the-art training lab, while DBF will oversee operational execution and management. This marks the 12th Drywall and False Ceiling Skill Training Center under Saint-Gobain Gyproc initiative, further strengthening its commitment to developing skilled professionals for the construction ecosystem.

Dalmia Bharat Foundation’s DIKSHa initiative focuses on placement-linked, short-term skill enhancement programs across various trades. With 22 training centers across India, DIKSHa has trained over 20,000 individuals, with a placement or self-employment success rate exceeding 75%.
