Bhubaneswar : “Until you dig a hole, you plant a tree, you water it and make it survive, and then you haven’t done a thing. You are just talking.” Believing on this philosophy SAI Communications & PR (SAI PR), a Public Relation firm started a plantation drive in the temple city -Bhubaneswar.
The first phase of this drive started today with the plantation of 60 sapling at VSS Nagar -Ward no 11, in the presence of Sri Susant Rout, MLA, Bhubaneswar South, Smt Sulochana Das, Mayor, Bhubaneswar Municipality Corporation, Smt Pravashini Mohanty, Corporator, Ward No 11, Sri Bibhudutta Pradhan, PRO and Protocol Officer, IMMT, Sri Pravat Kumar Samantray, (Ex-Army) Officer.
Guests appreciated the noble initiative undertaken by SAI PR and promised for support for such efforts. Speaking about this initiative Founder of SAI PR Alok Das said, “Being as a socially responsible organization, we are initiating this plantation drive in our temple city- Bhubaneswar. Through this drive we would like to contribute our small effort to combat environmental issues like deforestation, erosion of soil, global warming etc.
Odisha Head SAI PR Sarita Rout said that, by enhancing beauty and balance of the environment, we can try to make this planet a sustainable and better place for the future generation as well. Along with the smart city, we want our Bhubaneshwar to be a greener city as well. This is just the beginning. We will continue this drive phase wise at different part of Bhubaneswar depending upon the areas identified by BMC.
Deepak Das, Aditya Narayan Samantray, Sasmita Barik, Puja Devjani Mishra, Sarathi Kumari Barik, Babula Nayak from SAI PR were present and organized this plantation drive.
