Bhubaneswar, 23 March 2026: Tata Power-led distribution companies in Odisha have once again demonstrated sector leadership, with all four DISCOMs—TPCODL, TPSODL, TPWODL, and TPNODL—ranking among the top-performing utilities in the country in the Ministry of Power’s Consumer Service Ratings of Discoms (CSRD) Report FY 2024–25. All four utilities have secured an A rating, reinforcing Odisha’s position as a leading model for power distribution reforms in India.
Serving over 10 million (nearly 1 crore) consumers, the DISCOMs continue to strengthen their commitment to delivering reliable, efficient, and customer-centric power supply across the state.
The DISCOMs have demonstrated strong performance in key consumer-centric parameters, scoring A and A+ ratings in fault rectification and grievance redressal, reflecting their responsiveness and focus on timely resolution of consumer issues.
Further underscoring their operational excellence, all four DISCOMs have secured A+ ratings in operational reliability, highlighting sustained improvements in network performance and service continuity.
This recognition builds on earlier achievements this year, where two Tata Power-led Odisha DISCOMs were awarded A+ ratings in the Fourteenth Integrated Ratings and Rankings Report of Power Distribution Utilities for FY 2025, released by the Ministry of Power—further validating their consistent excellence across national benchmarking frameworks.
The achievements underscore the continued success of the Odisha Model, driven by the public-private partnership between Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, which has significantly transformed power distribution in the state.
The FY 2024–25 edition, the fifth edition of the report, saw participation from 66 utilities across the country.
The CSRD Report enables DISCOMs to identify performance gaps, adopt best practices, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery and consumer satisfaction.
The continued recognition highlights the effectiveness of Tata Power-led reforms in enhancing operational efficiencies, accelerating digitalisation, and delivering reliable power supply—contributing to Odisha’s socio-economic growth and setting benchmarks for the power sector nationwide.
