Bhubaneswar: The Aditya Birla Group company Ultratech Cement’s Cuttack plant has started its commercial production from yesterday. The first dispatch of the cement plant was inaugurated jointly by Mr Amitabh Pandey, the Zonal Head of Sales & Marketing along with Ms Susnata Mohanty, Team Lead DIPA, IPICOL.
This plant is located in the mouza of Khamrnuagaon and Kolathpangi under the Athgarh subdivision of Cuttack district and the capacity of this grinding unit is 2.2 MTPA. In the inauguration ceremony, Mr Peeyush Kumar, the Zonal Head-Logistics, Mr Dinesh Gupta, Project Head, Mr Ashok Pattanaik, Head-Liasoining, Mr Kartikeyan, Regional Head Marketing and Mr Bidhan Swain, the Samiti Member of Radhakishorepur were present. The first production was dedicated in the service of Lord Jagannath and the first truck load cement was sent to the Sri Jagannath Temple, informs Dr Bibhudatta Mahapatra, Vice President (Corp Comm & Media Relations) of the company.
