Bhubaneswar (Kalinga Voice): Guru Debaprasad Das is always remembered for his contribution to Indian classical dance form of Odissi. His Odissi style is robust and unique. He always said that an artist’s performance is measure during his/ her solo performance.For that reason Tridhara organizing and promoting Solo Odissi Dance for last 10 years. This year Tridhara presents Ekaika- Solo Odissi Dance Festival by young Odissi Dancer Rithika Banerjee a senior student of Tridhara, Bhubaneswar scheduled to be held on 11th April 2022 at RabindraMandap, Bhubaneswar from 6.30 pm onwards.
Rithika Banerjee is one of the senior dancers of Tridhara. She is very talented and most committed Odissi dancer. She has emerged as a dancer with note substance – her body lines are perfect and elegant. She has the power to mesmerize the audience with her graceful lasya movements and rigorous tandava movements. Under Guru Gajendra Panda’s most keen and ingenious tutelage, she is the most committedOdissi Dancer.She has performed many significant festivals in India and abroad and received many prestigious awards. She is received Junior Talent SearchScholarships in Odissi Dance from Central for Cultural Research and Training, Ministry of Culture, Government of India and she is also a winner of Nupur a mega dance completion of Parthana Channel.
The Odissi dance performance planned for the festival are Mangalacharna – Laxmi Nrusingha Dhyana, Kirvani Pallavi, Odia Abhinaya-Mana udharana,Video Documentary namely Rithika as an emerging Odissi Danseuse followed by Astapadi-YahiMadhava and Mahalaxmi.
The festival produces by ShriRupam Banerjee and Smt. Barnali Banerjee, coordinate by Smt. Rina Panda and video documentation by Shri Sanjay Bhatt.The Festival is conducted by Guru Gajendra Panda, Director, Tridhara.
