India crosses 75-lakhs positives mark
Bhubaneswar(Kalinga Voice) : India’s Active Cases have fallen below 8L after 6 weeks and continue to slide further down. 22 States/UTs have less than 20,000 Active Cases, and only 3 are reporting more than 50,000 active caseloads.
India crosses 75-lakhs marks with 55,722 new COVID19 cases and 579 deaths in the last 24 hours. Total positive cases stand at 75,50,273. The number of active cases stands at only 7,72,055 (dip by 11,256 since yersterday) . The number of persons Cured/discharged/migrated is 66,63,608 (rise by 66,399 since day) . The death toll due to corona is 1,14,610 till date.
A total of 9,50,83,976 samples were tested for COVID19 up to 18th October. Of these, 8,59,786 samples were tested yesterday, said Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)
