Bongaigaon: The Safety Department of NTPC Bongaigaon organised a Road Safety Awareness Walk in the main plant area to reinforce the importance of safe practices at the workplace. The initiative was conducted by the Site Safety Department in the presence of all Heads of Departments, reflecting collective commitment towards fostering a safe and responsible work environment.
The walk was led by Shri Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, in the presence of Shri Anurag Gupta, GM (O&M). Addressing the gathering, Shri Maitra highlighted the need for strict adherence to road safety norms, disciplined driving behaviour, and heightened alertness within the plant premises to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of employees and associates.
More than 100 employees and associates actively participated in the walk, carrying placards with safety messages to spread awareness. Shri Anurag Gupta also addressed the participants, emphasizing individual responsibility and consistent safety practices as key elements in achieving a zero-incident workplace.
