Bongaigaon: NTPC Bongaigaon -750 MW (3×250 MW) has been awarded the Public Sector Utility – National Energy Efficient Team title at the National Efficiency Awards 2025. The award, conferred by the Mission Energy Foundation during the 7th Annual Reducing Net Heat Rate Conference & Awards in Goa, recognizes the station’s excellence in improving energy efficiency.
NTPC Bongaigaon achieved this distinction in the more than 100 MW category, demonstrating its commitment to optimizing performance and sustainable power generation.
Shri Rakesh Kumar, AGM (EEMG), received the award on behalf of NTPC Bongaigaon. The station remains focused on adopting advanced technologies and best practices to enhance efficiency and contribute to the nation’s energy goals.
