Regional ED NTPC Eastern Region -II Headquarters’ invited as keynote speaker by BCCI in Kolkata

Bhubaneswar : Shri. Ashim Kumar Goswami, Regional Executive Director NTPC  Eastern Region -II Headquarters’  had been invited as keynote speaker in the round table discussion on the topic “” Energy Transition-Decarbonization and Climate Change of India” organized by Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kolkata on 14.10.2022.

The Meet was attended by various distinguished members of the industry. His Keynote address has been appreciated by the audience as inspirational and stimulating.

He briefed the audience about the emergence of NTPC in the green energy areas with respect to Solar, Wind, Hydro projects, Biomass pallet Co firing in thermal stations, Hydrogen co firing for Gas stations, and additional Pilot scale projects such as Carbon Capture, Green Hydrogen applications, etc. being undertaken by NTPC.

He also suggested that all industries need to setup RE manufacture and fabrication unit to follow “MAKE IN INDIA” campaign.
