Bolangir: 108 ambulance crew gave a new lease of life by donating blood to a critical patient. As per report, an woman named, Belmati Chinda, a resident of Singhbahali village under Naikenpali gram panchayat under Tarva block of Sonepur district, was suffering from stomach tumour and was undergoing treatment at Bolangir district headquarters hospital. On December 24, when her condition suddenly deteriorated there, the doctor immediately advised surgery and asked the patient’s relatives to collect A-positive blood group for the same. But at the same time, the blood group was not available in the hospital. Japanidhi Dansen, a 108 ambulance crew who came to Bhim Bhoi Medical College Bolangir with another patient at the right time, came to know about the patient. His blood group was also A’positive. So he immediately came forward without further delay and donated blood to the patient. Due to his humanity, the patient has got a new life.
